The 2014 Mazda Masda6 is a consequence of Mazda's new “Kodo, spirit of motion” style effort, following the previously Shinari idea car from this years Milan display, and then the more latest Takeri idea from this year's Seattle Engine Show. Kodo is “an appearance of a intense and wonderful energy,” according to Mazda—and what it quantities to in efficiency is a bold, more sports-car affected look.
Compared to the past 6, Mazda has shifted the windows principal a little bit back, and improved the range from the top side axle to the pillar—helping set up more of a rear-biased, performance-car position. Then as in many other new designs, the rearward support beams also allow better exposure at the front side, and side mirrors have been shifted a little further back, along the gates.
The Mazda 6 internal isn't going to flat-out attract you the way the external does, but it's nice and quite eye-catching in all. Components throughout most of the cottage are beautifully synchronized, with just enough brightwork, and cuts that position just enough soft-touch areas in the locations where arms are likely to go.
Powertrain
The new Mazda 6 has a rather easy powertrain lineup; it's operated by a new 2.5-liter 'SkyActiv' in-line four-cylinder motor, fixed with immediate hypodermic injection, varying device control, and a very great 13:1 pressure rate (unleaded gas is just fine)—altogether creating 184 horse power and 185 pound-feet of twisting. All editions have front-wheel generate, and the motor is fixed to two all-new transmissions: a six-speed guide, or a six-speed automated.
